Visita Iglesia (Churches in Davao City 2011)

I learned to appreciate the visita iglesia after doing it in Davao City years ago while i'm still a graduating student in college. I was able to do that beautiful tradition several times over the years in Cebu, Bohol, DaanBantayan, and again back here in Davao.

As a fashion/art/architecture lover, I'm in for a visita iglesia so that I can sight-see and take photographs.

Visita Iglesia is a common practice every Lenten Season. It is my chance to take my family,friends and special someone on a trip to these churches. 

The usual traditional is “Stations of the Cross”, but we just kneel in silence to think, reflect and pray about things we never had and will probably never have the time to linger on as the Holy Week ends and find that we have no time for silent recollection for the rest of the year.
