D’Best fried Tuna Tail Paksiw "Ellens TUNA QUEEN"

It was just an ordinary day, yet an out of the ordinary happen that day when I had the chance to met the owner of D’Best fried Tuna Tail Paksiw, maam Elena, TUNA QUEEN of the South. Finding her place wasn’t easy since it’s located inside Bakewell bakeshop at Maa, Davao city. It’s far away from downtown. We came on a Friday afternoon and our main purpose was to try out her specialties.

Maam Elena, serve us Pritong Tuna Paksiw, Beef Terriyaki, and beef caldereta. We’re excited to try first the pritong paksiw. We like the way it was cooked, the tuna tail was fried and was placed on top of a sauce filled with garlic. The taste gave me the right kick of flavor its really different sa ordinary paksiw na lutong bahay.
Next item we had for our main course was the Beef Terriyaki., a Japanese dish so great in taste and so hearty as well.

Then beef caldereta, for me, I prefer the taste of tuna paksiw and beef teriyaki over caldereta. I guess because i’m not a fan of the taste of ketchup or tomato sauce mix in the food.

Halfway through our meals we were served a good biko, smell and taste so good too. We we’re so full already.
The place was not airconditioned but the strength was obviously on their delicious Tuna paksiw, yet there are more items on their menu to try and I can hardly wait to go back.

Did I mention that the price is so affordable for a food that tastes great?

Mam Elena, shared to us that they accept catering services. Just contact her sun#09228147063.
